How to top up your wallet
The wallet feature allows users to maintain a balance that can be used for supported payments inside AccessMeds. This article explains how to add funds and confirm that the balance has updated correctly.
Step-by-step wallet top-up flow
Open the wallet page
Go to the wallet section from the dashboard.
Start a top-up
Choose the wallet funding or top-up option and enter the amount you want to add.
Continue to the payment gateway
The system may redirect you to a secure payment page. Complete the payment using the required authorization steps.
Return to AccessMeds after payment
After successful payment, the gateway should redirect you back to the application callback page or wallet area.
Confirm your balance and transaction status
Check updated wallet balance, transaction list, and payment reference or top-up reference.
Common reasons a top-up remains pending
- Gateway callback not completed
- Browser closed too early
- Bank authorization delay
- Network interruption during the return flow
